Lavishly's Lines Week #12

9-2 Las Vegas Legends @ 4-7 Turlock Express  Las Vegas travels up to Turlock for their only game of the weekend against the Express.  If the full squad makes the trip then Las Vegas walks away from this one with a win.  Las Vegas -4.5 over/under 15

9-3 Cleveland Freeze @ 9-0 Chicago Mustangs  Chicago is firmly in control of the East with a 9-0 record, but I think that record ends this Saturday.  Of course I will favor Chicago in the spread, but I think that Cleveland has come far enough this year to be able to go into the Grand Sports Arena and stun the Mustangs in front of the home crowd.  Chicago -3 o/u 17

9-2 Dallas Sidekicks @ 1-9 Tulsa Revolution  This will be the 4th and final time that Dallas plays the Revolution this year. Maybe after seeing the Sidekicks so many times, Tulsa figures out a way to scratch out a win at home, but that is unlikely.  Dallas -4 o/u 14

1-10 Illinois Piasa @ 4-6 Wichita B-52's  Maybe the recent shakeup in Pontoon Beach will lead to Illinois picking up their first road game of the season.  Wichita -4 o/u 12

5-6 Bay Area Rosal @ 7-3 San Diego Sockers I am assuming that McNeley, Martin, and Velez won't be playing, so the Sockers defense will be hampered.  Rosal's Bronil Koochoie was just traded back to Dallas after coming to the team on the 23rd of last month, and Dominik Jakubek, their veteran keeper with 3 win and 1 loss this season, was recently released from Rosal.  This will be Rosal's first time playing San Diego this season, and their first time they will play in front of crowd larger than 700 people, with the game this Friday being free to the Military, who knows how many people will show up.  San Diego -4 o/u 18

4-6 Cincinnati Saints @ 3-7 Harrisburg Heat  I saw some of the post game interviews that some of the Saints players did after their win over Harrisburg last week, and it seemed like all the players interviewed were buying in to new coach Chris Morman's strategy and game philosophy.  Cincinnati is only 1.5 games out of the last playoff spot which is currently held by Detroit.  Cincinnati -1 o/u 12

11-1 Monterrey Flash @ 9-2 Hidalgo La Fiera  Their last game against each other was very physical, both teams went on the man advantage a combined 13 times, but Monterrey was 2-8 and Hidalgo was 1-5.  The team that can stay out of the penalty box and convert powerplays will win this game.  Hidalgo -1 o/u 13

0-10 Texas Strikers @ 4-6 Saltillo Rancho Seco  Saltillo has lost their last two games at home against Monterrey and Hidalgo, so the Strikers will be a welcomed challenge before having to face San Diego in the last game of their six game home stand.  Saltillo -6 o/u 14

5-6 Bay Area Rosal @ 5-5 Mexico Toros  Both Rosal and Toros are fighting for that last playoff spot in the Pacific, and Rosal will be coming off of game in San Diego the night before.  This will be a tough match, but Mexico will keep their 3rd spot at home.  Mexico -2 o/u 14

7-3 San Diego Sockers @ 4-7 Ontario Fury  Still assuming that San Diego will be playing without key players, San Diego will still be playing their 2nd game in 2 days and will have to spend at least 2 hours on the road.  This is probably the best chance that the Fury have at upsetting the Sockers of any game in the regular season.  San Diego -2 o/u 18

0-10 Texas Strikers @ 11-1 Monterrey Flash  The last time Texas went into Monterrey, the Flash won 12-1.  But the Flash will be coming off of a game in Hidalgo.  Monterrey -10 o/u 14
